-No one believes me so I don't talk about my experience very much, when I was 7 years old we were in South Africa then and I saw something orange float near my head, I looked carefully and there it was a fairy she wasn't very small she was about 25cm very pretty. Ever since then I always believed in fairies and no one can change my mind but as all magical things they don't last very long for you to observe them. But it was there for about 5 seconds maybe less. After that I never seen a fairy again but I love butterflies very much and hope one day I could see another fairy.

Just now I was outside bringing my plants to get some sun and I seen something fluttering near my garden on the side the steps in and around this plant. It was small; about 2 or so inches in height and was going fast because I only seen a blur of wings.

Just then I had yelled inside to my brother and might have scared it away because when I looked at it. It seemed to have disappeared. I hope I didn't scare it away into thinking that I was a cruel human. But just as I was about to go back inside I seen something quickly fly to the ground from that same plant and disappear. I then went inside and got a piece of chocolate and laid it in the two gardens that I think they reside in. I usually sit outside and water the flowers, bushes and trees in hopes to gain their trust. I hope they reveal themselves to me again sometime soon.

In the autumn of 2004 I was with a friend in the forest under Mt Pilatus looking for mushrooms. We had sat down to drink some tea and a snack when I noticed a face amongst some ferns growing on a small hill right next to us. I already had the camera out when my friend asked if I could what she saw. I took two photos with my digital camera. It's unbelievable! It looks like a child's head. I have shown other friends and they find it hard to believe. I hope to go again this autumn but I'm pretty sure I won't find this place again. It is really a beautiful photo.

I have seen many strange supernatural things throughout my life so have all my family especially my brother but I have never seen a fairy.This fairy story is from my brother who lives in Croydon, England. This is what he told me what happened.

It was around mid June 2004. Early evening, my brother Michael and his wife (M) where sitting out in their garden for a smoke (They choose not to smoke in their house) Well, as they were stubbing out the cigarette and still chatting to each other, Michael & his wife hear a fluttering noise coming from the gutter just above & slightly behind their heads. He turned to see if it was a bird having a bath in the roof gutter-water, but instead of seeing a bird, he sees a little girl around 12-13 inches tall hovering above the gutter in a horizontal position. She was wearing a flowing white dress, which to him looked a little like a nightdress, she had blonde, almost white hair and the face of a 12-13 year old and this is what added to the strangeness of the event. She had white wings and all black eyes (no white of eyes were visible!) And her skin was pale to white.

He did not take his eyes off her but turned his head & mouth towards his wife while keeping his fixed eyes on the creature and said, "Are seeing this too?" Yeah, I am seeing it!" (Mrs) was too transfixed to add anything else. The girl seemed surprised that they had noticed her so she tried to hide over the gutter, more on the roof, but she kept her eyes in view, watching them. Once she knew that they could still see her she flew off over the roof and disappeared out of sight.

Michael and (Mrs) ran in to ask their grown up kids if any of them saw the girl too, as the kids were up stair with the window open. All three of them heard the fluttering but did not see anything.

I know this does sound too fantastic to be true, but my brother and his wife swear blind that it did happen, the girl was all too real. She was not a ghost. She was very solid and had a very faint kind of aura around her or light. The house they live in is haunted too! My brother believes that because he and his wife saw this girl, (I would call fairy) it means there will be a death in the family. Two deaths in the family did occurred; we lost our father and mother less than 6 months apart.

I have seen fairies in my garden -- they seem to live in or around my large rosemary bush -- and one was so bold as to glide from within the rosemary to a zinnia right before my eyes approximately 4 feet from me just the other day. I could clearly see the leg extension as it landed and immediately disappeared into the plant. This was in broad daylight about 10 in the morning. The stand of chives around the tall zinnia gently shook as the fairy made its way down the flower stalk. My instinct was to go over and check this spot out but something told me that would be "rude" so I refrained and stayed in my chair awestruck.

Destiny, Lindsey, Hillary and Meaghan

On June 7th, 2006, my friends and I saw a fairy. We were in the woods behind my house taking "modeling shots". When we got back to my house and uploaded the pictures to my computer, we saw a small shiny white, person-shaped object next to my friend Lindsey. We enlarged the picture and realized that there were two arms, legs, a head, and wings. We enclosed the picture and we promise we did not photo-shop this. We were scared when we first noticed it and now we think it's a blessing to have seen one. We are now true believers in fairies.

My wife was trying out our new digital camera one evening in our back garden, which apparently was the spring equinox although I am not sure as to the significance of this, the moon was full so Sue wanted to take a picture of it with the huge corona. When we viewed the picture in PhotoShop the image showed some distortions which were not present at the time of taking. As you can see from the picture below the moon is now a squiggly line of light along with more unidentified light patterns in the picture.

At first I thought Sue must have jogged the camera but on examination of the picture this does not seem to be the case as if you look carefully there are no other distortions to any of the lines within the photo.

I then zoomed in on various parts of the photo and found the image below which is in the centre of the main picture.

As you can see this light has a definite humanoid form and zooming in further you notice that the light trail emanating from it comes down from behind the dark blue washing line, which is just visible, underneath it and then the figures appear in front of it. The clearest figure has the appearance of a head, an arm, breasts, two legs and even clothing. Although I am naturally a sceptic on such matters the more I look at this photo the more I doubt myself. Further to the right of the picture I also found another humanoid looking light source shown below.

Myself and my wife welcome any investigation of both the photo and our camera as we would like to know what this is if it is not as first appears a legitimate photograph of a fairy.

My house is really out of the way, up in the hills and we actually own part of the forest. We also live by a reservoir, which is surrounded by hills and is quite peaceful.

I took a walk up there about a year and a half ago and stood on the little platform overlooking the water. I had always believed in fairies but had never actually seen one before. I looked down at one of the rocks by the water and saw two white wings fluttering and a human shape. I stared at it for ages not knowing what to think! it was about 12 inches tall I suppose...not the size I had ever expected from a fairy but hey. It was pure white. I know for sure it was a fairy. I went home singing and smiling and giggling, completely... wowed! This fairy was in the water... I'm thinking water fairy.

I haven't see any fairy or was a believer at first, but my sister in-law, Joyce, is from Scotland and grew up listening to fairy tales from her grandmother. She now lives in the mountains of British-Columbia, Canada.

A few years ago (about 3 years), there was a forest fire that was treating her area in the mountain; I forgot to mention, Joyce collect fairy statues and lot more, she is a true believer! The fire grew rapidly and was jumping from side to side; the fireman lost all control in a matter of a really short time. They were asked to leave their home "Now" and given little time to gather the necessities. But Joyce took all the fairies she could find near her and place them into a circle on the living room carpet while her husband and daughter were packing a few things. When the fireman return to tell them that it was more time that they could alow them to remind in the area (about 10 min. or less) Joyce turned to her fairies and asked them to protect their home and that she would be back soon for them.

Like it was all over the news I immediately call Joyce on her cell phone (portable) and offer them refuge to my house, then spending time at the hotel where they had been evacuated. At my surprise she refused and added that she will be back to her home very soon! I announced to her that the news group had reported that the whole area had burnt, but she persisted and choose to stay, that when she explained to me that her fairies were taking care of business‚! Well you just got to imagine the look on my face...Everything was BURNING!

Four days later, the fire was now under control and people were allowed to go and inspect the damages to there properties, everything had been reduced to ashes...Except Joyce's property!!! It like the fire surrounded her house, it burnt the whole side of the mountain and spare that little circle of green grass...the flowers in her garden were still blooming...No one could explain what had happen, and the firefighters were risking their reputations to tell them that maybe this was luck!!! Joyce told them about the fairies! As she related the stories about fairies to the fireman, a few of the man who could not explain what had happened agreed with her. We don't have to see to believe! The fairies were at work on that day.

Since, I have tried to find as much information about fairies that we share to each other, she is also sharing with me the fairies tales from her native land. I'm also the proud owner of a few fairy statues. Joyce and I are now looking forward to tell my 3 years old daughter all about the magic of fairies! Even if we haven't encounter with fairies, we know that they were there, protecting her house.
